On June 16, the provincial-level demonstration event themed "Women of Zhejiang, Digital and Intelligent Future: AI + Women's Federation Cadres" was held at Alibaba Xixi Campus. Hosted by the Zhejiang Women's Federation, co-organized by the Hangzhou Women's Federation, and undertaken by the Yuhang District Women's Federation and the Alibaba Group Women's Federation, the event brought together more than 120 representatives from women's federations at all levels and relevant institutions. Wen Jia, President of the Alibaba Group Women's Federation, delivered opening remarks.
Wu Hongmei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Zhejiang Women's Federation, attended the event and delivered a speech. She emphasized that leveraging "AI +" to empower women's federations and advance women's development was both a demand of the times and a core responsibility of women's federation cadres. She urged women's federations across the province to strengthen cadres' professional capacities, enhance both their mindsets and skill sets, and translate technological advantages into tangible benefits for public welfare services. Furthermore, she called for developing AI-empowered brands rooted in local characteristics to produce practical and implementable service outcomes, and guiding women to participate extensively in the digital economy and digital governance, thereby seizing digital and intelligent development opportunities for self-growth and empowerment.
Over the past year, women's federations across the province have held nearly 500 digital training sessions, reaching over 50,000 women's federation cadres. As a result, the time spent by grassroots women's federation cadres on repetitive tasks has decreased by 40% to 60%, enabling them to have more time to focus on personalized and empathetic services, such as the "Caring Mothers" mentoring program and support for underprivileged women. The event also showcased children’s emotional intelligence monitoring devices.Frontline women's federation cadres noted that although smart tools can aid service delivery, deep-seated issues such as family psychological counseling still require thoughtful human care. Currently, nearly 9,000 women's federation cadres and executive committee members across the province have acquired professional qualifications in family education and psychological counseling, leveraging their expertise to advance the core work of women's federations.

To address cadres' concerns about AI replacement, the Zhejiang Women's Federation has developed a series of localized digital and intelligent service brands grounded in three empowerment dimensions, establishing a collaborative model integrating efficient AI-driven operations with warm cadre-led services. A roundtable forum was also held during the event, at which experts pointed out that AI will reshape industries during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and that women's empathy and resilience constitute unique competitive strengths. Participants agreed that women's federations should serve as a bridge to foster a women-friendly digital ecosystem, ensuring digital dividends benefit all women and families.

Moving forward, women's federation cadres across Zhejiang will continue to leverage digital and intelligent empowerment and promote human-machine collaboration, showcasing the strength and brilliance of Zhejiang women in the new era.
