From April 6 to 9, the "Gathering in the Hometown of Overseas Chinese, Shaping the Future Together" event, along with the 21st anniversary of the European Chinese Women Association and its 10th Council Transition, was held in Qingtian, a renowned hometown of overseas Chinese. Nearly 300 overseas Chinese female community leaders from more than 30 countries and regions gathered here to explore women's roles and responsibilities and chart communication pathways.
Founded in 2005, the European Chinese Women Association has been deeply rooted in the European overseas Chinese community for 21 years. It is dedicated to promoting the development of women’s causes among overseas Chinese in Europe, fostering cultural exchanges between China and other countries, and empowering women’s development.

During the conference, a lecture titled "Her Power Connecting China and Europe—Contributing to a Shared Future for Mankind" was held. Additionally, 32 women representatives from the overseas Chinese community were appointed as Overseas Cultural Ambassadors for Qingtian County, building people-to-people connectivity between China and the world through women’s strength, helping to tell China’s stories and amplify Qingtian’s voice. A strategic cooperation agreement on the education of overseas Chinese children was also signed on-site to further integrate quality educational resources and provide a broader platform for their education, supporting the healthy growth of the new generation of overseas Chinese and the inheritance of Chinese cultural heritage.
