Wu emphasized that charitable undertakings play a positive role in promoting common prosperity and enhancing people's well-being. Centering closely on the pressing difficulties and actual needs of women and children, the Foundation has launched a range of public welfare initiatives with both warmth and influence, such as the Renewed Home Project and the Dream-Fulfilling Aid Program, empowering the all-round development of women and supporting the healthy growth of children.Immediately after the fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong, the Foundation launched the public fundraising campaign Love in Zhejiang, Aid for Hongkong in a prompt and well-organized manner,  demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility.

Wu pointed out that standing at the new starting point of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the Foundation must uphold fundamental principles and break new ground in its development. It should adhere to the principle of promoting development on the one hand and strengthening regulation on the other to ensure that the Foundation advances steadily and far on the path of law-based and standardized operation. It should give top priority to strengthening political capacity building, keep firmly in mind the functional positioning of public welfare organizations, attach great importance to the guidance of Party building, and ensure the right political direction.

It must pursue sound development by centering on the central tasks and overall priorities, fully follow the important  requirements put forward by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, during his inspection tour of Zhejiang and the general plan of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee. In line with the core work of the Women's Federation, it should embrace the philosophy of “Investing in People” to deepen its core business, strenthen research on the needs of women and children, enhance coordination with all departments of the provincial Women's Federation, develop distinctive programs serving women and children to achieve mutual empowerment and joint improvement.

It’s imperative to strengthen compliance management, foster a strong awareness of risk prevention, enhance compliance review, improve internal supervision, optimize workflows, and set up a whole-process supervision mechanism.

The foundation should also enhance its capacity for digital-driven development, foster an innovation-oriented mindset, actively empower its work and staff with artificial intelligence (AI) , boost digital literacy, and build a high-quality Foundation through a high-caliber team.
